Richard Jacobs ‘ biggest passion is writing fiction, fact based fiction, generally known as Historical Fiction. In the meantime he finds time to write short stories commonly based on his own exploits (which we will discuss later). Author of a few books, he researches his novels in depth and makes a point of writing about places he has been, or traveling to new novel locations – believing this adds credibility and reality to a story.

After serving as an officer in the U.S. Army Special Forces during the Vietnam era he escaped to the Alaskan bush for a period where he learned to write short stories.

Richard lives in Dallas with his wife Kat, and their Siberian Husky, Sitka.
